Updated Fire Sprinkler Contractor and Inspector Licensing Rules Are Now in Effect
The Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal (OSFM) has adopted the updated Fire Sprinkler Contractor and Inspector Licensing Rules (41. Ill. Adm. Code 109). This statute is now in effect and requires that all fire sprinkler inspection staff be licensed after January 1st, 2024. If an inspection is performed by a fire sprinkler professional who does not possess the required licensing, the inspection will be rejected, and you will not be in compliance. With USA Fire Protection, you’re in good hands. Our inspection staff are licensed and ready to keep your facilities in compliance throughout 2024, and beyond.
If Something is Impaired, We Are Prepared
In the realm of fire and life safety, the need for inspections, testing, and maintenance goes much deeper than compliance. Fire sprinkler systems are your first line of defense in a fire, designed to protect both lives and property. However, without regular inspections, testing, and maintenance, their efficiency can be compromised. Just like a car needs regular servicing to run smoothly, your fire sprinkler system requires routine services to function optimally. With regular service, minor issues can be identified before they escalate into major problems, potentially saving you from costly repairs and catastrophic damage.
When it comes to safety, there’s no room for compromise. Schedule your fire sprinkler inspection and give yourself the peace of mind that comes with knowing you’re protected.
